Diabetes Walk

As most of you know, Nate has Type 1 (Juvenile) Diabetes.  Last year we attend the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation "Walk to Cure Diabetes".  We went to check it out and meet others that are also Diabetic, but this year we actually want to TRY to earn money!  It is not like either of use to bug people about donating.  So instead I decided to put a link on the blog!  We don't want anyone to feel as though they HAVE donate.

This has been quite the roller coaster for Nate.  He has done extremely well, especially his attitude towards it.  I am so proud of the wonderful father and husband he is!  It's going to be SO wonderful when they find a cure and he doesn't have to deal with the insulin and needles anymore!  Not to mention all the scary things that can come with having diabetes!  I'm grateful that everyday he does all the tedious things he now HAS to do, to make sure he is here to with us for the long haul!

Again, don't feel like you have to donate, but if you feel inclined, it would be GREATLY appreciated!  Here is the link:

I also put a link on the side of our blog as well.  We're walking in the Cache Valley walk on Sept. 12th at 9am.  Please feel free to come join us!
